What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage — do the same job. This policy covers all of them, and "cookie" below means any of them.
Your choice
On your first visit we show a banner with three options: accept all, reject all, or choose per category. Nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies is set until you decide, and rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting — one click, same size button. You can change your mind any time from the link in the footer.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working. They cannot be switched off, and under EU and UK law they do not need consent.
| Name | What it does | Where it lives | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
wt_consent | Stores your cookie choice per category so we stop asking | Local storage | 6 months |
wt_session | Keeps a form submission tied to one session and blocks duplicate posts | Cookie | Session |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare Turnstile — proves a form was submitted by a person, not a bot | Cookie | 30 minutes |
wt_brief_draft | Saves your unfinished project brief so a refresh does not lose it | Local storage | 30 days |
Analytics
Only if you allow it. We use privacy-first analytics that count page views and referrers without building a profile of you. No cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no data sold or shared with advertisers.
| Name | What it does | Where it lives | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
wt_analytics | Counts a visit and which page led to it. No identifier that follows you off this site | Cookie | 24 hours |
If you reject analytics, the script is never loaded — we do not load it and then ignore the result.
No advertising
We run no ad networks, no retargeting pixels, no social tracking pixels, and no data broker tags. If that ever changes, this page changes first and the banner will ask you again.
Third-party embeds
Two features load content from other companies, and each may set its own cookies when you use it:
- Cloudflare Turnstile — the bot check on our forms. Cloudflare's privacy notice governs it.
- Cal.com — the booking widget on the contact page. It loads only when you open the booking step.
- Embedded video in blog posts, where used, loads in privacy-enhanced mode and only after you press play.
Browser controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge all have a privacy or site-data section. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break forms, and clearing cookies erases your saved preference, so the banner will appear again.
Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics and, for California residents, as an opt-out of any sale or sharing — even though we do not sell or share personal information.
Changes
When we add or remove a cookie we update the tables above and the date at the top. Material changes reset the banner so you can choose again.
